Goal #72: 101 Movies, "Strange Culture" and "Good Night and Good Luck"

"Strange Culture"

A documentary and dramatization of the story of Steve Kurtz, an artist who was arrested and accused of a being a bioterrorist. This film is a strange mix of documentary and dramatization, in the sense that the pieces of the story that Steve cannot talk about (due to legal recommendations from his lawyers) are the parts that the actors play out on film.

This movie is part of a list of films that I decided to watch due to loving Tilda Swinton, who I was originally introduced to in her starring role in "Orlando".

"Good Night, and Good Luck"

A movie about McCarthyism, and the role of the media and specifically one journalist, Edward R. Murrow. Solid movie, enjoyable, and great visual presentation.
